Gotta Moo. Research & Design Process
Each year milk packaging is one of the largest beverage container wastes in landfills. Whether they are plastic jugs, plastic milk bags, or plastic coated paper cartons they all depend on the extraction of oil and oil is a non-renewable resource that is running out. Also the finished plastic may be claimed as non-toxic, but the monomers used in it's manufacturer may be toxic and small amounts of those chemicals remain trapped in the product. These chemicals have many different harmful effects at high or low doses. While its impossible to avoid all plastics, we must rid our diet and lives of this toxic material as much as possible.

My aim for this research & design project was to come up with a friendlier milk packaging solution and an innovative carton design solution, that would stay away from the use of virgin tree papers, plastic and plastic coated paper products as much as possible in the food/beverage industry.
